Founding of societies, companies and associations

The founding of a limited liability UG (entrepreneurial company), a GmbH (limited liability company), a GmbH & Co. KG (limited partnership), an AG (public limited company) or an OHG (general partnership) as well as the registration of a tradesman or association must be handled in cooperation with a notary. The registration of all facts that require official registration and any changes that need to be made to the commercial register or register of associations must be certified by a notary. In such cases , the notary composes the text for the registration and monitors that the entry is made correctly. He/she provides advice on all questions associated with the registration process and clarifies any outstanding questions with the registry court.
